Details of the SCOTT SPARK 950
Adjustable steering head angle
The Spark allows you to adjust the steering head angle 0.6 degrees down or up. This can be done without cutting cables or bleeding the brakes. All you have to do is disassemble the handlebars and rotate the headset cups 180 degrees.
Easy to reach damper
Access to the damper via the bottom bracket area is facilitated by a flap. This makes it easy to adjust the rebound and compression damping.
Patented suspension system
The Spark frame features a patented and integrated suspension technology. An integrated shock platform allows the suspension characteristics to be refined without sacrificing weight. The result is better bike handling and a more stable, confidence-inspiring ride.
Boost standard
The Boost standard improves wheel stiffness and provides greater tire clearance. The increased clearance in the chainstay area allows for a significantly larger chainstay cross-section. This improves the stiffness of the frame and keeps the chainstays short.
TwinLoc suspension system
The TwinLoc suspension system allows the rider to effectively control the frame, fork and shock as a complete system. The added control makes for extra fun riding, especially on downhills. TwinLoc allows for nuanced fine-tuning of the suspension. Furthermore, not only the compression damping can be changed, but furthermore the spring characteristics to dynamically change the geometry of the bike.
