The Surly Midnight Special frameset made of steel is timeless, impresses with the latest features and simply gives you that certain something. The slim frame offers space for three bottle cages and mounts for mudguards and pannier racks. Old-schoolers have the option of attaching the gearshift to the down tube. The frame and fork are coated in robust powder paint on the outside and electrochemically dip-coated on the inside for maximum durability and corrosion protection. The dropouts have thru-axles ex works, but are open at the bottom and can also accommodate classic 135/100 mm quick-release axles with adapters.
